I don't want to sound douchey, but after staying awake for 48 hours solid, powered by Red Bull, whilst adding the finishing touches to 137 pages of pure research I have a feeling I'll sound like a right arse. However, that's fine; occasionally I feel like people treat me the same when I try and add a valid opinion.

Before you discard this post as "utter tosh", let's consider this fact: I want to start a friendly discussion here. I can easily just add a line of code to my browser which makes the yellow go blue or something so you don't have to do anything I say, or take any of it in or whatever.

So, let's start off with a happy face before anything else happens.

:D

I can't see the yellow because I use prosilver. Why do I use prosilver? DarkFantasy looks god awful on a 2560 by 1440 pixel (@ about 27 inches) display – like a tiny square in the middle of a soccer field. prosilver can scale up: DarkFantasy cannot.

While I understand that most people will use DarkFantasy and thus you will probably ignore the rest of this comment or post altogether, light yellow on white is not usable (I have experience in user interaction design and human-computer interaction to back this up, it's an extremely detailed area of research and I can explain why contrast is important if you're bored enough to read).

I know you want to make every group different, but we're talking about two subclasses of moderators here. Why are they treated so differently? The two groups aren't even separate ones on these forums: moderators can moderate with the same powers as global moderators. By definition, global moderators moderate the whole forum, standard ones are assigned to specific forums. I'll also argue that the definition is wrong for small, friendly forums like this one – we only really need global moderators here, there's not enough content being posted daily to warrant specialised moderators for specific forums.

My personal views are that mods should be of a similar colour. Green and dark green or something like that.

Just my two cents.

I 100% agree with you guys. I have changed it now to a darker green. Thanks for your input everyone.
